For directions from London: leave the M40 at junction 8, signposted towards Cheltenham and Oxford on the A40. Continue to follow signs for Cheltenham on the A40. After Burford roundabout, stay on the A40 until you reach the next roundabout (which is where the A40 intersects the A429). Turn right on the A429 towards Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, and quickly take the first left (about 20 metres after the roundabout) towards Turkdean. Blanche House is the third house on the left at the bottom of the hill. If you meet a fork in the road, you've gone about 20 metres too far.
